Program Benefits

 The Preferred Provider Partnership Program provides a number of benefits to employers and their employees. Educational partnerships help employers demonstrate their commitment to investing in their greatest asset, their employees. By providing additional educational opportunities, employers are able to equip their employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to support the goals of the organization. Employees are able to accomplish their personal and professional goals while earning a respected degree from a top ranked university. Eligible employee benefits include: 

Tuition Benefit for All Enrolled Employees

Eligible employees will receive a 10% benefit towards tuition, which is based on the current published tuition rate for approved programs. This amount is not applicable to the cost of books, housing and miscellaneous fees. The grant is awarded proportionately over each semester in the degree program, as long as the partnership remains in effect and the employee continues to be certified as eligible. All grants are applied as a credit to the student's account with the University and no cash payments will be awarded to the student. Students may combine this benefit with their organization's tuition reimbursement benefits.

Application Fees Waived

Applicants enrolling through the Mercer Tuition Benefit program can have their application fee waived on most programs. Please check with your admissions representative to verify whether the fee is waived for the program to which you are applying.

Credit Transfer Policy

Mercer recognizes that many career-minded students have already earned some college credit, or even their Associate's or Bachelor's degree, through another institution. At Mercer, we value your previous education and experience, offering a transfer credit policy that allows you to bring previously earned education credits to help you move forward in your program. Transfer credits must be reviewed for approval for transfer.

Military Benefits

We are proud of our commitment to the brave men and women who are serving in every branch of the U.S. Military, and our veterans. Mercer has established all the essential elements to serve those eligible to receive additional educational benefits provided by the military. Mercer is also approved to provide the Yellow Ribbon Grant to eligible students.
